Teen arrested over attack on man who requested quiet

Police arrested a 15-year-old suspect on Thursday for allegedly takingpart in a vicious assault on a man who asked youths to keep the noisedown in Ra'anana.

The assault victim, 34, was walking his dog in the evening hours onMonday, when he ran into a group of noisy youths. He asked them to keepthe noise down, and encountered threats of serious violence from theteens in response, police said. The man left the area.

On Wednesday night, the man encountered two of the youths from thesame group again. This time, they allegedly followed him home, and oneteen allegedly punched the man in the face as he turned to enter hisapartment.

The man was knocked to the ground, and the youths allegedly continuedassaulting him with punches and kicks.Paramedics evacuated him to the Meir Medical center in Kfar Saba inlight condition.

Police are searching for additional suspects.
