Tel Aviv University President Prof. Tzvi Galil to resign

Tel Aviv University President, Prof. Tzvi Galil, announced on Tuesday that he will resign from his post to pursue further academic studies within the university. The resignation comes at the end of a two-year term in office, and in a letter to the university's directorate, Prof. Galil explained that he wished to return to the pursuit of studies in computer science - his field of expertise. Galil added that the "administrative intensity" of his current position made it difficult for him to pursue such research.
