Police announced on Friday that the Temple Mount will be closed to visitors on Sunday and Monday due to the Muslim holiday Eid al-Adha. The holiday began on Thursday and ends on Monday evening and honors Ibrahim's willing sacrifice of his son Ismael as a showing of obedience to God.
