Water Authority: Kinneret level lower this year than last

The Water Authority warned Wednesday that Lake Kinneret would likely drop below the bottom red line this summer. The Kinneret started its annual summer drop on May 11 and has dropped 10.5 cm already.

Last year, the lake only dropped seven centimeters in May.

Overall, the water levels were lower this year in most places than last year, according to Water Authority data.
