Ya'alon: Turkey's demand that Israel apologize 'rude'

Minister Moshe Ya'alon voiced his disapproval of issuing an apology to Turkey at Sunday's forum to discuss the publication of the UN Palmer report on Israel's conduct concerning the 2010 Mavi Marmara. Ya'alon called Turkey's demand that Israel apologize for its raid of the Turkish ship in order to restore diplomatic relations between the two countries "rude."
"There was a provocation here that the Turkish government is also responsible for," Ya'alon said. "It wasn't our side that spoiled relations, and I expect they will not [restore diplomatic relations] even after the apology."
