Deputy minister of foreign affairs: Khan al-Ahmar is an illegal outpost

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Tzipi Hotovely slammed the international community's opposition to the impending demolition of the Beduin village of Khan al-Ahmar.
"Khan al-Ahmar is an illegal Bedouin outpost and the State of Israel is committed to maintaining the rule of law," Hotovely said. "The Palestinian Authority, together with the European Union, is transforming the Beduin in Khan al Ahmar into a political tool for the control of Area C. There is a great deal of hypocrisy in demanding that Israel not evacuate an illegal outpost."
