Police say the woman, Malkam Tasra, was attacked by her knife-wielding husband, Bohanai Gatnek, 39, after seeking a separation.
The murder suspect has been arrested.
The woman, whose eight-year-old daughter from a previous marriage reportedly witnessed the assault, was rushed to the Assaf Harofe Medical Center in Tzriffin by Magen David paramedics last Monday.Paramedics said they found the woman lying on the ground unconscious and bleeding profusely from stab wounds to the chest.
