Live: Herzliya Conference tackles security head on

Conference to feature the Middle East's leading experts as they take on Israel's policy and security issues.

The 12th annual Herzliya Conference, from January 31 – February 2, is Israel's foremost global policy gathering, bringing together the most senior Israeli and international participants from the government, business and academic sectors to address pressing national, regional and global strategic issues.
This year's conference will feature some of the Middle East's key security and policy experts including Defense Minister Ehud Barak. There will also be keynote addresses from President Shimon Peres, Prince El Hassan bin Talal of Jordan, opposition leader Tzipi Livni and Bank of Israel governor Stanley Fischer, among others.
The conference will consist of some 30 plenary sessions ranging from discussions on Iran's strategic ambitions to the rise of political Islam.
