He told Channel 10 that Hezbollah had pressured the Assad regime in Syria to allow the demonstration, and had called for the conquest of Israel by Arab armies.“This isn’t Israel, it’s Palestine. This country must not be Jewish,” Hijazi told Channel 10, before being arrested for illegal entry into Israel.Another two Syrians were arrested in Majdal Shams on Monday, during house-to-house searches that were conducted throughout the day, Rosenfeld said.Earlier, a Syrian-Palestinian infiltrator who was a passenger in a taxi driven by an Arab man from east Jerusalem was arrested along with the driver.Click for special Jpost coverageThe passenger “was trying to make his way south. He had no papers on him. He was arrested at a police checkpoint in southern Majdal Shams, and is being questioned at a police station,” Rosenfeld said.
