Early reports claim the strikes targeted sites in the northern Gaza Strip. Terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip fired at IDF aircraft in an attempt to down them.
An IDF tank attacked a Hamas post in the northern Gaza Strip on Wednesday after three rockets were fired from Gaza.
The coordinator of government activities in the territories said the the organization is “looking into the matter with the relevant parties and the government of Qatar." Hamas denied the report.
Israel Katz's statement comes hours after Hamas announced Egypt had brokered a ceasefire with Israel, Al Jazeera reported.

Hamas spokesman Fawzi Barhoum warned Israel against carrying out any “foolish” acts against the Gaza Strip. He said that the cost of such any military operation will “exceed Israel’s estimates.”

According to IDF Brig.-Gen. Ronen Manelis, the rocket was fired from Hamas operatives from a Hamas military post in Rafiah in the southern part of the Strip and had a range of 120 kilometers.
Images from the Israel Fire and Rescue Services and the Police Spokesperson's Unit show the damage and debris, including shrapnel on a baby's crib.
A rocket hit a private home in Moshav Mishmeret in the Kfar Saba region early Monday morning, injuring seven people, all of whom were evacuated to Meir Hospital.
