Bennett: Bayit Yehudi stance on peace talks paid off

Bayit Yehudi chairman and Economy and Trade Minister Naftali Bennett hailed his faction's stance on returning to peace negotiations with the Palestinians Saturday stating that "our stronghold on our principles paid off".
In a statement, Bennett asserted that "when we insist on our position, it is possible to manage negotiations without preconditions, without freezes, and certainty without the delusional demand to base them on the [19]67 lines."
Bennett blasted the EU for its publication of directives on banning dealings with Israeli settlements, and dismissed their position as an "honest broker" for talks.
He claimed that amid the resumption of negotiations, Israel would continue to construct settlements in the West Bank and east Jerusalem, adding that "evacuating our settlements brings terrorism."
