Former journalist Rosenthal to run for Labor Knesset seat

Former journalist Miki Rosenthal formally announced his candidacy for Labor’s Knesset list on Thursday morning, and was warmly received by party leader Shelly Yacimovich.
"I dedicated my entire adult and professional life to protecting the average citizen, who feels that the state and authorities just take more and more from him," he said.
Rosenthal continued that when Yachimovitch approached him about running for the party@@@s Knesset list he accepted the proposal as an opportunity, "to affect change in Israel society and protect the average citizen, for whom I have been fighting for years..."
Yacimovich welcomed Rosenthal, and said that he would be an advocate of the party@@@s social agenda.
