Israel to pay NIS 875,000 to family of Abu Jariban

Israel on Thursday agreed to pay NIS 875,000 in compensation to the family of Abu Jariban, an injured Palestinian man who was left by police officers to die on the side of a road in 2008, Channel 10 reported.Under a settlement agreement, the State agreed to pay the compensation in the name of the two police officers who left Jariban to die, and in the name of the Tel Hashomer hospital, which released Jariban while he was still in serious medical condition.PMO: 'Hamas is hiding the fact that it is sabotaging hostage deal'
