Khamenei blasts Obama, says he plots against Iran

US President Barack Obama is not qualified to speak about "peace and friendship" with Iran because he is plotting against the country, Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei said Sunday.
In an address broadcast live on television, Khamenei said Iran was watching the "intentions" behind Obama's offer of more educational and cultural exchanges in a message last week marking the Iranian New Year.
But Khamenei, who has the final say on all matters in Iran, said US overtures had been deceptive and that Washington had taken the "worst position possible" on Iran's postelection turmoil in refergin to "rioters" as "civil activists."
