Students assault 2 Arab-Israeli officers

Two undercover Arab-Israeli police officers speaking in Arabic while patrolling the Kiryat Moshe neighborhood of Western Jerusalem, were attacked by several students near the entrance of a nearby yeshiva Tuesday morning, police said.
According to Police Spokesman Micky Rosenfeld, the assault took place close to the Mercaz Harav yeshiva, where in 2008 a Palestinian terrorist opened gun fire in a crowded study hall, killing eight and wounding six.
Rosenfeld described the incident as minor, but added that while no arrests were made, police are actively investigating the matter and will apprehend the suspects involved.
