Two earthquakes strike Greek islands; no damage

Two magnitude 5.1 earthquakes struck near Greek islands in the Aegean sea Friday night, but authorities said there were no reports of injuries or damage.
The Athens Geodynamic Institute said the first quake occurred off the holiday island of Kos in the eastern Aegean at 11:11 a.m. (0811GMT), followed by the second near the island of Alonissos, in the central Aegean at 9:53 p.m. (1853GMT).
Earthquakes are common in Greece and neighboring Turkey.
