The G7 has also expressed support for Iran’s protests as well as condemning Russia's use of Iranian drones in their war against Ukraine.

Efforts to revive the nuclear deal have stalled and ties between Iran and the West are increasingly strained as Iranians keep up anti-governement protests.

The reason the talks are at a standstill is that “Iran has taken a position in those talks for the past two months, which is simply inconsistent with a return to the deal,” Rob Malley told CNN.
