Kfar Saba: Driver dies in accident splitting from police

A 25-year-old driver died in a car accident  in Kfar Saba early Friday morning after evading police that had ordered him to pull over, Israel Radio reported.
According to the report, police flagged down the driver, but he stepped on the gas instead, speeding off and crashing into an electricity poll on the side of the road.
The passenger in the vehicle was seriously injured in the accident as well.
Police began an investigation as to what caused the driver to split.
