Dozens of Tel Aviv Municipality clerks arrived at the Rothschild Boulevard Tent City on Sunday, telling activists that they would be forced to evacuate the tents in the coming hours.

The clerks also told activists that Sunday would be the final day they would be given use of municipality trucks to move their belongings.

Some activists were planning a demonstration at the scene of the tent city to protest the evacuation, according to media reports.

Last week, the Tel Aviv Municipality announced that it would begin removing the remaining tents after Rosh Hashana.
