French report suggests hotels in chateaux

A report commissioned by France@@@s president offers some unorthodox suggestions for the cash-strapped country — such as opening luxury hotels in famous royal chateaux.
President Nicolas Sarkozy asked Senator Alberic de Montgolfier to draw up suggestions on how to make money through innovative uses for France@@@s historic sites.
One suggestion is opening luxury hotels in chateaux including Chambord in the central Loire Valley and Rambouillet outside Paris.
Another idea is promoting movie shoots at historic sites. The report also says the government should encourage people to buy state property.
Sarkozy@@@s office says the report it received Thursday is rich in ideas. The president has asked the culture minister to study it.
