Justice minister slams shoe-hurling attack on Beinisch

Justice Minister Yaakov Neeman on Wednesday harshly criticizedan attack on Supreme Court President Dorit Beinisch, who was lightly hurt whena 52-year-old resident hurled his shoes at her during a court hearing.
“This grave incident must not be tolerated,” Neeman said.
“This attack on the president [of the court] hurts not onlythe Supreme Court President, but the justice system as a whole. A justicesystem is a major part of a democratic regime in any civilized state,” he saidin a statement.
