Schalit activists rally in Caesarea near PM's home

After being banned from protesting outside Netanyahu's home activists gather in neighbor's home nearby.

Dozens of activists in the campaign to free captive IDF soldier Gilad Schalit on Friday held a rally inside the home of Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu's neighbors in Caesarea.
"We were forbidden from protesting in a public area, so now we're closer, in the home next to the prime minister's house," said protest organizer Magen Dahari.

Police recently put an end to rallies held by Schalit activists in a public area outside Netanyahu's home every Friday.
"Apparently our concern for securing Shalit's release disturbed the prime minister," Dahari said.
On Monday Gilad's father, Noam Schalit, delivered a speech saying, "The government of Israel has abandoned my son, there are no words ...to describe this."
During the speech, given at a conference for the Yad Labanim organization at the Dan Panorama hotel in Tel Aviv, Schalit criticized the government and specifically Netanyahu.
"The government of Israel and the head of the government do not have the courage to admit in their failure to release Gilad through alternate options, and on the other hand do not display the integrity that is required in paying the price necessary today for an IDF solider who is still alive, in so far as it does not stand behind its responsibility to bring a captive home."
