Iran denies supplying Fajr-5 rockets to Gaza

Iran on Saturday denied it supplied Gaza-based terrorists with the Fajr-5 missiles fired at Tel Aviv over the weekend, according to AFP.

"We deny having delivered the Fajr-5 to the Palestinian resistance," Allaeddine Boroujerdi, head of the Iranian parliament's foreign affairs committee, reportedly told Iran's Al-Alam television.

"The aim of such accusations is to portray the resistance as weak whereas it is perfectly capable of producing the arms it needs," he concluded.

The Iron Dome intercepted two Fajr-5 missiles aimed at Tel Aviv on Saturday. The missiles marked the third attack on the heavily populated central city in as many days.
