Iraq's President Jalal Talabani on Saturday said new sanctions against Iran won't work and warned that Iraq will never allow Israel or any other country to use its airspace to carry out an attack. Talabani said the six major powers dealing with the Iran nuclear issue should conduct "a real negotiation" with Iran and guarantee Teheran's right to the peaceful use of nuclear energy. He told a news conference that this might work, stressing that new sanctions will not force Iran to change its policy.
