PM shows support for facility to house illegal infiltrators

Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Sunday gave his support for government plans to construct a large facility in the South to house African migrants who illegally cross into Israel from Egypt.
During a government discussion on the issue Netanyahu said "there is a growing wave [of infiltrators] that threatens the Israelis' jobs, a wave of illegal infiltrators that we must stop because of the ramifications it has on the character of the country."
"We must provide a humanitarian solution to shelter, food and medical services for these infiltrators until they leave the country," The prime minister added.
"For years there has been talk of stopping the wave of illegal infiltrators into the country. This government, in contrast to previous ones, is actually doing something," Netanyahu said.
