Iran to unveil three new satellites

Iran will be unveiling three new satellites at a ceremony to take place Wednesday in the presence of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, according to reports from Iran'sstate-run news agency.

In 2009, Iran launched its firstsatellite, called Omid. Wednesday's news broadcast is a source of concern in the international community since continued statellitedevelopment will allow Teheran to develop a more accurate ballisitcmissle system, as well as a longer-range capability – potentially being able tohit not only Israel but European cities as well.
